Kigali – Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, depart Kigali and travel north through Rwanda's spectacular countryside toward Volcanoes National Park.

Gorilla Trekking Experience

Rise early for breakfast before transferring to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for registration and a detailed briefing by park rangers.

You'll then be assigned a gorilla family based on your fitness level before beginning one of Africa's most extraordinary wildlife experiences.

Guided by expert trackers, hike through bamboo forests and volcanic slopes in search of endangered mountain gorillas.

Once located, spend a magical hour observing these magnificent primates as they feed, groom, play, and interact naturally within their family groups.

Golden Monkey Trekking & Second Gorilla Trekking

Begin another exciting day inside Volcanoes National Park.

Depending on permit availability and your chosen itinerary, enjoy an early morning golden monkey trekking experience.

These playful, colorful primates are highly active and provide fantastic opportunities for wildlife photography as they leap among bamboo forests.
