Today is the highlight of your safari.
After an early breakfast, you'll report to the park headquarters where experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers conduct a comprehensive briefing covering gorilla trekking etiquette, conservation efforts, and safety guidelines.
Groups are allocated according to fitness levels before entering the ancient rainforest accompanied by expert trackers.
The trek may last anywhere from two to seven hours depending on the gorilla family's location.
Once located, you'll spend one magical hour observing these incredible primates as they feed, groom, play, and interact naturally within their forest home.
Few wildlife encounters compare to standing only meters away from a silverback and his family.
After trekking, return to your lodge for relaxation while reflecting on this unforgettable conservation experience.
