Day 1

Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari representative and transferred to your hotel for relaxation after your international journey.

Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy views of Lake Victoria, Africa's largest tropical lake, while preparing for the adventure ahead.

Your guide will provide a safari briefing, explain the gorilla trekking regulations, and answer any questions regarding the upcoming journey.

Spend the remainder of the day relaxing at your accommodation or exploring the peaceful surroundings of Entebbe.

Day 2

Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip.

Upon arrival, your professional guide will meet you for the final road transfer into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking Experience

Today is the highlight of your Uganda safari.

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters where experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers conduct a comprehensive briefing before assigning your gorilla family.

The trek may last anywhere from two to eight hours depending on the gorillas' movements through the dense rainforest.

Along the way, your guides will point out unique plants, birds, butterflies, and other forest wildlife.

The unforgettable moment arrives when you finally meet a mountain gorilla family in its natural habitat.

You'll spend one incredible hour observing their behaviors, watching playful juveniles, protective silverbacks, and nurturing mothers.
