Day 2
Mountain Gorilla Trekking
After breakfast, transfer to the relevant park headquarters for your pre-trekking briefing with Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Your guides and trackers will explain the trekking procedures before you enter the rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family.
The trek takes you through dense forest terrain and can vary in duration depending on the location and movement of the gorilla family. Once the gorillas are located, enjoy the regulated one-hour encounter, giving you time to observe and photograph them in their natural environment.
