Day 1

Nairobi to the Mara

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup in Nairobi before heading west toward Kenya's celebrated wildlife country.

Travel through the Great Rift Valley, stopping at a scenic escarpment viewpoint for panoramic views before continuing through rural communities, farmland, and Maasai settlements.

Arrive at your lodge around lunchtime, check in, and enjoy some time to relax before your first afternoon game drive.

Later, enter the reserve for your first wildlife experience, searching the open grasslands for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and numerous antelope species.

As afternoon turns toward evening, continue exploring areas where wildlife gathers before returning to your lodge for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2

Full-Day Wildlife Exploration

After breakfast, enjoy a full day dedicated to wildlife viewing. You may choose an optional hot-air balloon safari at an additional cost, offering an aerial perspective over the plains followed by a bush breakfast, or depart with a packed picnic lunch for an extended game drive.

Explore open grasslands, acacia woodland, riverine areas, and the Mara River, watching for elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and abundant birdlife.

During the Great Migration period, seasonal concentrations of wildebeest and zebra can make the experience particularly spectacular.

An optional cultural visit can also be arranged later in the day for travelers interested in learning about Maasai traditions, music, dance, and community life.

Day 3

The Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, leave the Mara behind and travel toward Lake Nakuru through the scenic Great Rift Valley.

The journey provides changing views of rolling countryside, escarpments, farms, and local communities before arriving at your accommodation for lunch.

In the afternoon, head into the park for a game drive focused particularly on its renowned rhino population.

Search for both black and white rhinos alongside Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, waterbucks, baboons, and numerous bird species while exploring the park's woodland and lakeside habitats.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, traveling through the spectacular Rift Valley landscape. Arrive at your lodge around lunchtime before enjoying a relaxed afternoon away from the longer game-drive schedule.

The afternoon is deliberately flexible. You may simply relax at the lodge or choose an optional boat ride at an additional cost to see hippos and waterbirds from the lake. Alternatively, an optional guided nature walk can provide opportunities to encounter giraffes, zebras, impalas, wildebeest, and other wildlife in the surrounding area.

Day 5

Lake Naivasha to Nairobi & Onward Flight

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out and beginning the return journey toward Nairobi.

The drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley, with opportunities to appreciate volcanic landscapes, escarpments, rolling hills, and rural communities along the way.

Upon reaching Nairobi, continue to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your scheduled onward flight to Entebbe, Uganda, if this connection is part of your travel arrangements.

Your Kenyan safari ends with memories of exceptional wildlife encounters, spectacular scenery, and diverse experiences across the country's famous safari landscapes.
