Following an early breakfast, transfer to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters for registration and a detailed gorilla trekking briefing by experienced rangers.
You'll learn trekking rules, safety procedures, and conservation efforts before being allocated a habituated gorilla family based on fitness levels and group size.
The trek through the dense rainforest can take anywhere from two to six hours depending on the gorillas' location.
