From a cultural trip through Karamoja to a safari in the wide open savannah of Kidepo Valley National Park, this region of Uganda provides some of the best experiences. Itinerary
Arrive at the Entebbe Airport where you will be welcomed by your guide and be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. The environment is quiet and cool with an astonishing view of the lake as well as the city. It’s a good place to start your holiday with good internet, big clean rooms, and great friendly services.

After breakfast, we drive to Jinja and change money in Kampala along the way. In the afternoon you will take a boat tour to visit the source of the River Nile. You can then have a walk to visit the town. It has beautiful old colonial buildings which are now used for different purposes. You can also visit the craft shops. Overnight will be at the Nile Porch where you stay for 2 nights.

Today is a free day in Jinja Town. If you like adventure this is the place to be! Jinja is a fun place in Uganda where you can do all kinds of exciting things.
Optional activities include.
1. White-water rafting (full day USD 145 / half day USD 125)
2. A horseback safari (USD 50 for 2 hours / USD 70 for 3 hours)
3. Quad-biking (USD 70 for 2 hours / USD 90 for 3 hours)
4. A day of white-water kayaking on the river (USD 120).
5. A sundowner cruise on the Nile (USD 35)
6. A visit to the source of the Nile.
7. A visit to the Jinja market
8. Walk around Jinja town to see the beautiful colonial buildings
You can also choose to relax if you prefer, as it’s a very good place to hang out. Overnight will be at the Nile Porch.

Today we leave Jinja and drive to Moroto. This is one of the long drives where we will have beautiful scenery of the country through the Pian Upe Game Reserve. You cannot compare this landscape to any other part of the country. You will arrive in Moroto in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will go for a short walk in the city and can have a sundowner at a local bar, enjoying the stories from your local guide. You will stay for 2 nights.

Day 5 Visit the Manyattas and Villages
After breakfast, you will begin your tour through the manyattas and villages in Moroto. We highly recommend cycling on mountain bikes through this area. However, if you prefer not to cycle, we recommend using a motorbike (known as Boda Boda) that drives you safely through the villages. These riders come from the communities so when we use them we employ the locals as well. You return for lunch and then have a relaxed afternoon.

It is not only one of the best parks in Africa but is also very famous for its scenery and wildlife. Overnight will be at Kidepo Savannah Lodge for 3 nights.

After an early breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive to search for lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo among the plenty of other wildlife in the park. Kidepo is very famous for its lions that like to climb rocks and trees as well. It also has very beautiful scenery that you cannot compare with any other parks in Uganda. You will return for lunch and then later in the afternoon, you will go on another game drive. Overnight will be at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.

After breakfast, you will go on a nature walk through the park for about 2 hours with an armed ranger. He will guide you and tell you about the park and also about the birds, wildlife, shrubs and flora among many others. You will then return to the lodge to have lunch and relax before going on an afternoon game drive. Overnight will be at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.

Today, you can choose to sleep in or go on yet another game drive to search for more wildlife you might have missed. You will return for an early lunch and then drive to Gulu town. It’s a small pleasant town so you can go for a late-evening walk in the town. Overnight will be at Churchill Courts for 1 night.

Today we transfer to Entebbe Airport. Along the way, we visit the white rhinos at Ziwa Sanctuary. This is a wonderful opportunity to see the endangered white rhinos in the wild from close range, while at the same time learning about the breeding program and the steps taken to involve the local communities in the conservation efforts. After the trek, you have lunch en-route and continue to the airport to be in time for your flight home.
